Question PMDe: how to make backwards knees - 03-24-2012, 11:25 PM

Hello everyone.

I've created a bird model that I've rigged in PMD Editor (english), and it works except I cannot figure out how to get the knees to naturally bend backwards. Even if I rotate the bones, when I move the feet IKs the knees always want to bend like a humans.

Is there a way to put constraints on how bones bend? Or, in Blender you can create bones that point in a certain direction that other bones in the skeleton must follow (if that makes sense). Said bone acts as a guide. Maybe something like that is possible in PMDe?

thanks in advance!
